Firstly I would just like to introduce myself as the new editor of the GRASA newsletter, and have now been asked to update the GRASA website with news.
Following the last meeting I went to on Sunday 29th, I have heard much positive feedback from both riders and spectators. The meeting was well presented, well run, and had an amazing crowd for its first meeting.
Every heat winner had to do a lap of the track with a bunch of flowers, which was fantastic for the wives of the crews, and the crowd as some got thrown! (The flowers not the wives!)
The weather held off, and the racing on this track was superb. Although the track from a spectators view, looked a little hard to ride and a little bumpy, it still proved to show a great days entertainment.
The GRASA stall did attend the meeting, and Di said she had a great day, and the stall done well. This is what we like to hear!!
Well done to all those who rode, Mitch for running an excellent meeting at this fantastic venue, and all the spectators that came to support the riders and organizers.
