Latest update from Frank....
From bits found buried deep in my garage, and with a little help from E-bay and old friends, I have recently restored 3 old upright speedway bikes.Having not ridden on a track for about 39 years thought at the ripe old age of 60 it was about time I made a comeback.( much to my wife's horror) I took 2 of the bikes down to Iwade Sittingbourne speedway track, to a practice day.
I was made very welcome by Graeme and his team. Some old supporters of Canterbury speedway were there and we chatted about old times. I took to the track like a duck to water, and can still do it. This time the bikes didn't let me down like they did in the old days, and I didn't fall off. (which pleased the wife). I have been back 3 times and looking forward to enjoying my new hobbie.
I am putting together an albulm of photos and cuttings from the old days if anybody has any I would be gratefull for copies. I can be contacted at frank.wendon@blueyonder.co.uk.

Any info on the above riders has been sent to me via e-mail etc. I can take no responsibility for errors etc.

Any other information.
Spill the beans here.
